The intricate stonework exterior to the millwork on the indoor walls makes you feel like you're reading a book in a castle. The stone continues on the fireplace inside, and the light hardwood floors continue the cozy feel. There are amenities for modern living in the kitchen and bath, but both are done in a way that they blend with the cottage rather than compete with it.
